Move, Go Forward and Take the Land

A lot has happened in us. Piles of human abilities have been weakened. God has touched the hip bones of many in the body of Christ in this period of Lockdown.

It is a wonderful thing when God deals with us. But most times when the dealings are over, we tend to become too fearful to step forward.

Before the dealings of God with us we think we can do it in our ability, we often think our skills, gifts and talents are enough to take us there but after his dealings, we become so emptied of self that even when it is the hour to move forward, we are often afraid to dare, lest we fail.

It happened in the life of Moses, before God’s dealings with Moses, He knew he was to lead the Israelites out of Egypt but he tried to do it in his strength and timing and failed miserably.

For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not. Acts 7:25

His brother’s lack of understanding of his call led to their betraying him. The LORD took him to the school of hard knocks right into the wilderness. But there is something in the life of Moses worthy of emulation. This man went from the palace to becoming a shepherd, suffered for forty years in the bush only to come back and save the same people that betrayed him. That’s Gods’ love in manifestation.

But before Moses left we are told;

And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. Acts 7:25

Observe carefully what the above verse speaks of his communicative abilities. It says he was mighty in word and deeds. He was educated in the wisdom of the Egyptians. A man powerful in word, but after the dealings of God with Moses hear what the Bible says;

And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. Exodus 4:10

A man mighty in words lost faith in the ability of his words. He became so afraid after the dealings of God that it now was left to God to strongly convince and propel him to action. He lost faith in all his abilities and was now totally dependent on God’s arm.

Many of us have been brought to this position right now. God has allowed our strengths and capabilities, gifts and talents to fail us inexorably that at this moment of rising, we have become too fearful. But God is speaking.

In an encounter with the LORD, I saw the LORD offer a car key to a Christian to drive people in a car to a ministry. But I saw this believer so distracted that before he would return, the vehicle and the people left him behind. He was distracted and returned too late.

Coming out the Spirit led me to;

The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swear unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them. Deuteronomy 1:6-8

Then the LORD said, “This is the moment to possess the Land, it is the time to take your inheritance.

I have given you The Authority. You have the keys of the kingdom.

Do not be afraid for you have come out purified in my eyes. Do not be dismayed for I will not fail you.

You have stayed too long on this level. Move, go forward and take the Land.

The highest heavens are opened over you. This is the hour to fulfill your destiny. My Power, Grace and Gifts are activated in you.

Miracles, Signs and Wonders are now Following you.

Now! take your journey in glory.”
