I AM Restoring

Strength is coming through as many are choosing to see only the light of God. It is a moment to be word focused like never before. Eyes on Jesus.

Today by the power of the Spirit we will just do away with some few things about spiritual warfare and round up which many may not observe but which in one way or the other are promoting fear in them.

Practicing the word helps a lot. I remember way back a colleague of mine used to laugh at me for practicing divine health with my family. At that time there was nothing threatening happening around the world as we have today. He would say I was afraid of medical bills which was why I was going for divine health.

Today we are walls apart but I feel sorry for him, I remember how he used to be so afraid of even drinking water he had left in his office for some time, thinking he could be poisoned. I wonder the panic now since he was against what I was practicing.

But the little things we were observing have become an encouragement to many today. In our church I am surprised at the aged receiving divine health teaching and practising it. When they are tempted, they reject medicine and go for the life of Christ. Today they only come to me for prayer only when it is a difficult case. This has happened in just a matter of four months of our beginning the Church.

Now, a lot of people are afraid to occupy buildings they believe demonic activities have been carried out there. I have seen where before others would start up even a church, they would go there to fight demons. Days upon days of fighting to destroy demons. Others are afraid to eat foods offered to them in the name of it could be poisoned, a charm or demonic activities may be done on it and so on..

This is going to be simple and short but it is effective. Now see, in the old covenant a lot of things where prohibited, the law sentenced a lot of foods to the curse. But now Jesus has reversed the order by his blood. Today everything good is from God and should be received with thanksgiving. Be it a building, be it clothes, foods, just anything good.

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Food is good, chicken, pork, very good. Houses, clothes etc. But when given to you, how to you receive them without fear? How do you eat anywhere with confidence? How do you take a house, a church anywhere with confidence?

First understand that the word of God actually says they are good gifts, the opposite of evil. So now what do I do since they are already good?

1 Timothy 4:4-5
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Observe the first statement “every creature” whatsoever has being created by God is good. We do not have to attribute honour to a demon. It is good if has been created by God.
I know someone may say pastor I think I should go drink some strong drink since everything created by God is good. I know you have a good brain that tells you what is good and that which has been perverted.

Then it says, it is to be “received with thanksgiving” that’s all. Because when we offer words of Thanksgiving in prayer everything is sanctified. Very simple.

When we say father thank you for this precious house, this wonderful meal, it is a good gift from you, I receive this with thanks to Jesus Amen. It is sanctified by the word and prayer. Whether poisoned or demonic activities done on it. It is cleansed, purified and and ready to be made use of. This is very simple. This was the lifestyle of Jesus.

Matthew 15:36
And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

And again

Matthew 26:27
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

This was the exact thing we did before entering our church building. Today we see miracles and lives changed in our church without going through all the religious ceremonies that rather promote fear.

Live freely, receive every creature with thanksgiving knowing it is sanctified by your prayer of thanksgiving.

In a encounter with the Lord I saw the fixing of a lot of things and then I heard “I AM restoring…”

Joel 2:25-27
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Then the Lord said “I have only disciplined you for the blessing. Now I am restoring the years of your suffering. I am restoring you on all sides.

I am satisfying you with plenty and doing wonders in and through you this moment.

I have removed shame from you, you will now know me as your God. You will no longer ask, where is my God? for I will never let you see shame again”

Fight for The Vision

It is a pivotal moment of the good fight. It is as though a lot of hearts should ask, where is the fulfilment of your words upon us? But God is doing great things amidst the mist. Faith and Patience are key to seeing these promises fulfilled in our lives in this hour of warfare.

Yes, we are still on the subject of spiritual warfare. We saw in our previous discussion that warfare in Christendom is a matter of knowledge. That the battle has already been won. They are no new victories. We are only led in the victory of Christ for us.

Our warfare is called the good fight of faith.

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Why is it called the good fight of faith?
It is called a fight of faith because it just a fight of what you believe. The wrong knowledge of scripture is the root of most of our problems. How God sees us, who he has said we are in him is not optional but pivotal if we must walk in the victory of Christ. For there is an image perverter waring against the law of our minds daily.

Now a lot of Christians engage in a thing we have imbibed into spiritual warfare called Destroying Territorial Strong Holds before we can preach the Gospel or do any divine work in a particular area. Many are afraid to live in some places in the name of territorial demons.

This is unscriptural, we fully discussed what warfare is in our previous discussion. The strong holds mentioned coming against us are a matter of what we believe, a matter of knowledge. Imaginations and thoughts contrary to God’s word are the Strong Holds. This false doctrine itself is a strong hold to many that have believed it.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Now if wrong knowledge is the strong hold, how do you destroy strong holds in a city?

You simply go with the right knowledge. The Gospel of Christ. You go with the word of God for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

People with this idea of territorial strong holds spend years praying over a city without stepping out. I don’t know whether they expect angels to go preach the gospel. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. The gospel is what will save a city not sitting down and praying unscriptural prayers.

Imagine Jesus sending his disciples to go ahead of him to a city, to take one month to break the territorial demonic strongholds before he could have access to enter the city to preach. Where is that practised in scripture? Not by Jesus, not by the apostles if you understand warfare. That idea itself is the strong hold.

The devil knows better that most of us, he does not need to live unbelievers and hide up in the air as a territorial demon even though he is the prince of the power of the air, he lives right within the unbeliever. All unbelievers carry the nature of the devil.

Ephesians 2:2-3
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Now observe this statement in the first verse “the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience”. He does need to hang out in the air as territorial strong hold, he is right inside of the unbeliver, they share the same nature as you can see, “and were by nature the children of wrath”

So now what is he doing in the lives of unbelievers?

2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Ah that you may see it. The unbeliever’s mind is the target of the enemy. How do you get them out of spiritual blindness? Prayer is good but light is what dispels darkness. You can pray not for a territorial demon but for the power of God to fall on their hearts, that the Lord opens their hearts to receive the gospel. But remember the gospel is what will save them, even if the power is broken and they are still empty their minds will still be filled up again with the darkness of the enemy.

Forget about territorial demons, your next door neighbour if he is not saved, has the devil sitting right in his heart; this is why we must step out;

Romans 10:14, 17
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?..So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

I am aware of the lady Diana doctrine coined out of Paul’s persecution at Ephesus in the nineteenth chapter of Acts. I do not know where they got it from even in that passage. There is no place where Paul went back and began to pray against territorial demons. The more they came against the Apostle, the more he pushed through with the gospel. Not with breaking territorial strong holds but with the gospel of Jesus. He knew better. The gospel is the solution.

This was not just at Ephesus, the Apostles kept on fighting persecution everywhere they went because we are promised persecution. It makes the gospel real.

The world needs the light of the gospel. Arise and shine and see nations changed.

In an encounter with the Lord, I saw a Christian with a remote control in his hand as he tried to turn on a television. I saw a dark image on the outside as it tried to put off the television. I saw him fighting to put on the television….

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Then the Lord said ” Fight for the Vision, fight the good fight of faith. I have already given you eternal life when you called upon my name.

Do not be afraid, the enemy wants to put off my call upon you, but lay hold on eternal life and keep on your good profession faith for unto life were you called.

Your Life is Hid With Christ in God

This is a time to stand strong, there is heavy resistance on the visions of God upon his Body. As we have broken out into a new beginning, new trials are upon us but as many as are leaning on Jesus, our help is secure.

Yes, we are still on our subject of spiritual warfare, we looked at our armour in the last discussion and boy we really have an armour. Just by putting on our armour we already have the victory.

Now see, we saw that Jesus is the power of God. That Jesus is our all. The sum of all spiritual things, our armour. And Jesus is not going to defeat the enemy, he has defeated the enemy already. This is why when we put on Christ, we have put on the victory and it’s the reason we are called more than conquerors, for he is no longer fighting, he has fought and won the victory.

But Pastor, if we already have the victory, why does the word talk of we wrestling as you can see from this word;

Ephesians 6:11,12
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Boy this scripture used to scare me a lot. They way it was preached, it would always provoke panic and fear in me in my early days of Christianity. I used to think the devil keep throwing fireballs at us and if we are not fighting well, he might just fire us away in due season. If you understand the stuff we are made of and what Christ has done, this won’t raise your eyebrows.

Now in our previous discussions, we established that the enemy is already disarmed. If he is disarmed what’s the big deal? The names should not scare us if we have understanding.

Now let’s open up the battle. Pay keen attention as this will set you free forever.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Observe carefully this statement ” the whole armour of God”. All the armour of God. Everything we discussed in our last discussion. The entirety of God’s armour is what is mentioned. When we have completely put on this entire armour of our God in which nothing is lacking, we are then told to do something. And what is that? “That ye might be able to stand” This is the first eye opener.

Most people jump this part to “For we wrestle” the wrestling is just standing in the victory of Christ. We are not fighting to win another victory outside of what Jesus has done. No, never, we are only standing in his victory. I do not desire to have my victory separate from what he has done. I am not a match for Satan.

Now this is the bomb. The last part says “that ye might be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”

When we finish putting on the whole armour of God, the only thing we are standing against is the “wiles” of the devil and not fireballs. Everything beginning at “For we wrestle” downward is only explaining this eleventh verse.

When we are done putting on the complete armour of God, the only thing we are fighting against is the wiles.

What do you what to fight against if he is already disarmed?

Now see, a Christian who knows who he is in Christ is different from an unbeliever. If the devil does some strange thing to an unbeliever, you should not think it will also be your experience. Christians hear stories and exalt the devil in their lives.

He is not disarmed in the life of an unbeliever because he has not accepted the victory in Christ so their stories shouldn’t be a pattern to us

Now the word used above for wiles is from the Greek word methodeia which means traveling over, that is travesty (trickery) ( Strong’s Concordance G3180).

We are only standing against travesty which is the tricks of the enemy. We are fighting nothing but trickery. Look at the definition of travesty in the American English Dictionary.

1. An absurd or grotesque misrepresentation.
2. Parody or stylistic imitation.
3. A grossly inferior imitation.

All we are standing against is the misrepresentations and imitations of the enemy. We have the victory, he only makes us think we do not have it. He is disarmed, we are with the armour yet his voice is a fiery dart. This is why if you do not know who you are in Christ the enemy can misrepresent you and you will go with his opinion you.

This is very simple you need him to help you disbelieve it. Now look at how it is also explained clearly in these verses;

That you may see it, when we put on our weapons of warfare through God, what are these strong hold that we are standing against?

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”

Oh the word of God is perfect. Everything mentioned above is just a misrepresentation, an imitation. It says cast these imaginations, negative thoughts down, do not let them be exalted against the knowledge of God, cast them down to the obedience of Jesus. Let them obey Jesus. Let them obey what Jesus has already done.

A lot of people do not rest in the name of fighting demons. The battle is no where but in your mind, right between your ears. May the Lord grant unto us this revelation.

Pastor there is such a thing as territorial demons…we need to brake them before entering to preach in a city. Catch you tomorrow on this….

In an encounter with the Lord “I saw a Child of God surrounded by armed men. These men were opening houses and beating people up. When they came to his room, they looked at his window, but even though he was there, they could not see him. They looked directly at him but could not see him, the Lord hid him from their eyes.

Colossians 3:1-3
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Then the Lord said “Do not be afraid, for you are dead and now risen with me. Set your affection on things above. Set your affection on who you are in me seated in the heavenly.

You are dead to the world, you are not part of the earthly system, you cannot be touched – for your life is hid with Christ in God.”
