You Are Being Rescued

Yes, Gleanings from the Book of Galatians.

We saw from our previous discussion what the apostle Paul declared, that Christ becomes ineffective in the life of whosoever is justified by the law.

Then we hear,

Galatians 5:5
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

The above verse says something incredible. The apostle says “we through the Spirit”

If anyone one would have had a reason to seek justification through the works of the Law, it was the apostles. Although they were Jews, grew up under the law, yet, they at the revelation of Jesus by the Spirit, were wholly submitted to the righteousness of faith.

The statement “Wait for the hope of righteousness by faith” does not mean they were not at this time efficaciously righteous.

But this is speaking of the glory to be revealed at the return of Christ. The total manifestation of the kingdom of God, when our humble Lord and brother, the kinsman redeemer, returns for salvation and no longer for sin.

There are seemingly two kinds of righteousness, the righteousness of the Law which genders to bondage and the righteousness of God which comes to us by faith.

The righteousness of the law is not actual, but a supposed righteousness, because there never has existed a law given to which righteousness could come by.

Galatians 3:21
Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

It is actually a self-righteousness, because it declares you are justified by your works. You live in it, and if you can’t possibly live in it you die in it.

Romans 10:5
For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them

If it had life in it, we would have received life and righteousness by living in its requirements. But it was meant to lead to the death of self. Hence, instead of living in it, men died in it and were held captive in its coffin.

Romans 7:6
“But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held”

Then we have the righteousness of God which comes by faith in Christ Jesus. This is the true and only righteousness. Here the the wretched sinner is justified freely by the free Grace of God without the works of the law, to which all the apostles looked to for salvation.

This righteousness has nothing to do with the works of the law. It is the fulfilment of the law, the fulfilment of the entire justice of God for the sinner by Christ.

Romans 3:21-22
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Observe the statement “for there is no difference”

The apostle says, we all, even though Jews, together with you, have put our hope in the righteousness of faith which comes unto all and upon all who believe, making no distinction.

Once you believe in the Son of God, this righteousness comes upon you while the law stands watching.

It stands powerless before righteousness of God, even though you lack the ability to meet up with the demands of the law, your faith in Christ fulfils it and beyond.

The Moment you believe in Jesus, you are in for it. The righteousness of God comes to you and lands upon you, making you eternally qualified to approach the throne of grace, to access your inexhaustible inheritance in Christ.

The truth is that, the greatest apostle that ever lived, Paul was not more righteous than you. He was not more qualified than you as you can hear him confess.

The apostle Peter was not more qualified than you. They had no other special standing with God, but in the righteousness of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Now that you have believed in Jesus, you are the righteousness of God in Christ, made holy and fit for kingdom exploits!

In an encounter with the Lord, I saw a Child of God with a lot of issues upon his body fall into a pit as he went there to do some work.

He had been taken through a tunnel of water into to this pit that was covered with hard concrete.

It looked as though he was dead in this pit.

But I saw how the Lord sent two angels, and I saw how one of the angels with a sharp digger, broke open the covering on this pit.

To my surprise this Child of God was found still alive in the pit. And his life was rescued.

I was led to:

Job 33:18
He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

And again:

Psalms 91:11-12
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Then the Lord said “My Child, holy and beloved of your Father, I see the issues upon your life. I see that they have taken you down to where it now looks as though you won’t be able to come out. I see that your situation looks as though you are dead in it.

But listen my dear Child, I have been keeping you all along, and I have not let go of my hand upon you. I am with you and still keeping you even from perishing even in this pit.

Your life is precious to me, it has cost me even the death of my firstborn, the son of My Love.

You will not be lost in this battle, I have given my angels charge over you, and you are being rescued from the sword of your adversaries.

They are keeping you in all your ways. See, you are being borne up in their hands out of the pit, Lest you be hurt by the evil one.”

Now Is The Time Of Miracles!

This word was originally posted March 31, 2020.

As I was about continuing with our Gleanings From The Book Of Galatians, The Holy Spirit impressed this word upon my heart so strong I had to pause and resend it to the one the Lord loves and wants to bless!

We will continue on our Gleanings From The Book of Galatians tomorrow…..

In a vision, The Lord showed me believer, He was in God’s purpose but because of the natural occurrence going on around him which seemed to be very opposing, he began to doubt if he had stepped out in God’s timing,

Then I saw a big bag full of leaflets and when I looked closely on what was written on these leaflets I saw “calling” on each of them.

Then I heard the Lord say “Do not be afraid of the storm, I dwell in thick darkness, and I have been leading you. You have not missed my call, but you are in your calling. I have been directing your work in truth for my everlasting covenant is upon you, and I have reserved for you the victory”.

For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. Isaiah 61:8

In another encounter with the Lord, I saw the Lord appear to a believer who was in a very tight situation that only the sovereign hand of God could deliver him and the Lord said to him “God will bring you out”
Coming out of the encounter the Holy Ghost straight way lead me to Isaiah 35:4

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. Isaiah 35:4

The word translated above for save is from the Hebrew word yasha which means “to be open wide or free, and to free or succor” (Strong’s Concordance H3467).

Hear the Lord say, “I have come with vengeance and I’m bringing you out, I have opened wide the doors of your captivity and freed you. I beckon on you to step forward. My succor is with you, all I have called you to do I am helping you in the accomplishment of all with my own POWERFUL hand.”

Then in an encounter with the Lord yesterday he said to me “NOW IS THE TIME FOR MIRACLES”

It has begun, the miraculous is upon us. The Holy fire of God is upon the body of Christ right now. Do not be afraid but spread the fire of the Lord, pray for the sick on any platform given to you, online or face to face and watch the king roar with vengeance upon your enemies.
NOW IS THE TIME FOR MIRACLES.

Now, the Vision Will Speak In Your Favour

Yes, Gleanings from the Book of Galatians.

We saw from our last discussion, that Christ profits you nothing, when you go back to the doctrine of circumcision.

Then we hear the apostle continue;

Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

“Christ is become of no effect unto you”

The effect of the Cross, the power of the Grace of God, the riches of the life of Christ are nullified in your life. The advantage of knowing the saviour is completely abrogated in your life. But why?

“whosoever of you is justified by the law”

Not as though anyone could! For by The Law, there shall no flesh be justified before God.

The meaning then is this, if you seek to be justified by the works of The Law, and by your invalid estimation, reckon yourself to be righteous before God by it. Christ is completely of no advantage to you. You render him ineffective in your life.

And then we hear;

“Ye are fallen from grace”

Fallen from grace? I thought The Law was higher than the Grace of God!
Oh grace is the higher life of the Christian. You are born from above and not from earthly Sinai. A lot of people make it look as though The Law is the higher standard of life, and people are looking for an excuse to live under the Grace of God.

Going back to the works of The Law is living your higher spiritual life, down to the mundane. Leaving your heavenly seat with Christ as the son of his love, reigning in life with him, to where you fall down to the earth and are try to rich up to heaven to bring Christ down by your works. A very bad picture if you would imagine it.

Don’t be like the fallen angel. You are already a child of God, a partaker of the divine nature. An heir of God, an heir of the kingdom, full of God’s wisdom and power.

You cannot be stopped, you are the light of the world, you are a city set upon the hill that cannot be hidden.

If I was not a child of God myself, I won’t lie to you, I wouldn’t have helped, but envied you all my life.

You are made blameless, spotless and predestined for greatness in Christ.

In an exciting encounter with the Lord which looked as though a movie I had seen before, I saw a child of God in a race competition, I saw him run so well with the opponent. But it was quite a tight race.

Then as they approached the finish line, this child of God and his opponent were at the same pace, side by side, same speed it looked as though it would be a tie as they crossed the finish line.

After the race, there was a waiting time for the announcement of the winner, as the officials were keenly observing the race.

I saw this Child of God, not knowing the outcome but sensing it just has to be him, waiting and looking expectantly at what the officials would announce.

It was a shock though, but as the announcements were made. I saw this Child of God jump up with joyous celebration, for it was judged to his favour! He had won the race!

I was led to;

Habakkuk 2:2-3
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Then the Lord said, “My dearly loved one, know that you are in my will, and have been running with my vision upon your life. It has been hard I know, but you have been strong and unrelenting in the race in the face of opposing forces.

I know It is your greatest desire to see the fulfilment of my vision upon you. You have crossed the finish line, now is the appointed time.

You are at the end and now, the vision will speak in your favour and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it, having a confident expectation of good, for it is now coming to pass and will no longer tarry.”

My Light has Arisen for You in This Darkness

Yes, Gleanings from the Book of Galatians.

We saw yesterday that we have been set free from Satan, the bondage of The Law, sin, guilt and condemnation, but that we must stand fast in our liberty in Christ, never again to be entangled with the bondage of the Law, if we must enjoy our freedom.

Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Then we hear the apostle making a very stern statement;

Galatians 5:2
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

“Behold, I Paul say unto you”

Paul now emphatically speaking with the authority of an apostle, as a custodian of the mysteries of the Gospel of Grace, as the head to which The Gospel to the uncircumcision was committed unto, declares that,

“if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing”

Circumcision in itself is not an evil thing if done for the right reasons. The Galatians at this time were going back to circumcision as a doctrine of The Law, to make one whole after being born of God.

They did not all together reject Christ, but wanted to blend the grace of Christ with the meritorious works of The Law.

The apostle declares this to be a contrivance to Christ being The All. Either Christ is a Whole Saviour, or none at all. He is not an icing to the cake.

The apostle emphatically declares that Jesus is not a part saviour. Combining him with the rituals of the Law is setting him aside entirely, which is detrimental, because you forsake your benefits in him. You are setting aside all the benefits of the cross by going back to observe The Law.

All my two boys are circumcised, both of them on the seventh day. Why? When my first son was born, a pastor close to me pushed hard that he must be circumcised on the eight day, I would have done that but he was making it look as if, although we are now in Christ, we must observe these things to be right with God.

Saying in it in my heart, that it has been abolished, didn’t help my faith much, so I had to let my faith have its actions. I did it on the seventh day and so with my second son. I want to have all the profit Christ has offered. I will stand fast in the freedom I have in Christ as long as I can discern by the Spirit of the Lord.

Then we hear the apostle declaring;

Galatians 5:3
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Observe one, observe everything written in The Law. Observe circumcision; you are a debtor to fulfill the entire Law; ceremonial, moral, civil, all the laws written in Scripture.

Observe carefully the word “the whole law” not part of it as some agitate falsely today.

Every little jot, every ordinance, animal sacrifices must be returned and Christ set completely aside.

All must be observed perfectly if you desire a life of bondage, and after your failed observation, you will still not benefit from the unsearchable riches of Christ, for you deny him by such works.

But there is a better way, a new and living way, you can just rest in the finished work of Christ and bear fruits unto God. Christ is your profit, therefore you will never loose. He is the same yesterday, today and forever, hence, your blessings are intact.

You have left The Law, cling to your profit. Stay in the assurance of the Love of your father, for you will soon cash out the profit of your faith.

In an encounter with the Lord, I saw a Child of God who had felt led by the Lord to embark on this vision.

But I saw that it looked as though she was asking herself where are you Lord? Because of the dark circumstances I saw surrounding her.

She felt as though she was abandoned by the Lord in what she felt he had called her out to do.

Amidst this chaotic happenings, I felt the presence of the Lord strong with her.

Then another scene appeared where I saw her in the glory of the Lord, as she was promoted, celebrating and rejoicing in what the Lord had done for her. It was a swift deliverance.

I was led to;

Micah 7:8
Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

And again;

Psalms 112:3-4
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

Then the Lord said, “I have not left you my child, I have being with you in the darkness and I tell you my light has being shining on you.

Rejoice my dear one, say to yourself ” I am rising” tell your enemy not to rejoice over you, for as long as I am your light, assuredly, you are shining!

Wealth and riches shall be in your house, your righteousness shall speak for generations.

I have seen your gracious heart, full of compassion and filled with righteousness, Now, I say to you, My light has arisen for you in this darkness.”

Fight From Victory

Yes, Gleanings from the Book of Galatians.

We saw from our last discussion, that Hagar and her son were cast out and were never to be admitted into the inheritance meant for Isaac, the child of promise.

Which things are a typology of the Covenant of The Law and its works, which have been cancelled and taken out of the way, never to have a part in he inheritance of The Covenant of Grace.

The next Chapter opens up something wonderful to behold. It says;

Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Now Observe carefully, in the above verse, the word “therefore”.

It is used as an inference drawn or a conclusion drawn from the previous discission. The previous chapter declared the verdict of God for Abraham to cast out The Law and its works because of it’s unprofitableness in the Covenant of Grace.

Then we hear in this verse ” Stand fast therefore in the Liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free “

Beloved, it is not a sin to be free. To many today, when you preach the freedom we have in Christ, it is as though, it is a sin to be free.

The truth is that, because of the way the enemy has fought the freedom we have in Christ; a freedom from Satan, the bondage of the curse and condemnation of The Law, from sin, and from eternal death, it is often difficult for the average Christian to actually live with the Blood Cleansed Conscience.

The language in the verse above, indicates that we must contend for this freedom, if we must enjoy it.

Stand fast! we hear. This is why most of the fathers of faith fought, laying down their lives for us to have an unadulterated, highest heart desire fulfilled Christian experience here on this side of life. They fought for a purified religion, where Christ is the liberty of all Christians.

If the Church today will keenly look back at what Martin Luther fought for, you will see that a lot of our pulpits are far into spiritual adultery.

Most of our Christian fathers fought and died for the course of freedom in Christ.

If you go back to studying church history, some were burned to the stakes by the Church for fighting to restore the gospel of the free grace of Christ back to the pulpits.

You must make a decision to contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.

The freedom of the Christian is not licentiousness, neither is it lasciviousness, but it is the deliverance from the bondage of sin, the curse of The Law, from guilt and condemnation. It is an alienation from eternal death, into the unmerited, unearned, unconditional and invaluable blessings of The Christ.

Then we hear “and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage”

Imagine the hard labour an oxen does as it carries heavy yokes on its back. This is what it means to go back to the bondage of trying to please God by the works of the law. Trying to win God’s favour by merits.

The word bondage above is vast in meaning, when you fall back into this bondage, you fall back under the authority of Satan, the curse of the law, Sin, guilt and condemnation.

You make your self a prey to these things by rejecting your position as a child of promise, a child of God qualified by birth, born with the rights to rule as an heir of all things in Christ.

Dear beloved, you must stand fast, anywhere you turn today there are voices of discouragement fueled by the enemy as it has always being.

There is no promise from the word of God that all Christians will enjoy this rest on this side of life. It clearly says some will not enter by reason of unbelief. Those that enter, will enter by ferocious warfare. There is a conscious labouring involved. This is why we are told;

Hebrews 4:11
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Stand fast in your liberty in Christ, God has already blessed you with invaluable blessings. It does not matter what the enemy is pulling around, keep standing strong and declaring your freedom in Christ. Weeping may endure for a night, but your joy comes in the morning.

In an encounter with the Lord “I saw a child of God, who has being in warfare, contending with the enemy in his assignment for some time now.

At the time I saw this, he had gained ascendency in the things of the spirit, and had risen high in the exercise of his authority over the enemy in his territory.

I saw the enemy show up and was looking for a way to put up a fight.

But at this time, I saw that this child of God was feeling deep within himself, that he had already overcome, and would not fight as before, but I saw him run off to the hills declaring his victory with Joy.

I was led to:

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Then the Lord said “My beloved Child, I see the contentions you have faced. You have had tribulations, troubles that have made the faith of others to fail them.

But you have stood strong, gaining the ascendency in the exercise of your authority in me. Now, be Joyful my Child, I have already given you the victory.

I see you putting up a new weapon of warfare, fighting from the top, right on top of the hill, for you a city set upon the hill that cannot be hidden. You will not be thrown down, for I have already overcome the world.

Fight from victory with the joy of your father, for you are born of Me, and have overcome the world.”

Your God is Doing a New Thing

Yes, Gleanings from the Book of Galatians. We saw from our last discussion, as Ishmael, the child born after the flesh, persecuted Isaac, the child born after the Spirit.

The former, typifying the Covenant of the Law, and the latter, the Covenant of Grace.

And so, the apostle says, even so it is now, those under the bondage of the Covenant of the Law, persecute those under the Covenant of the free Grace of God.

Galatians 4:29
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

As this was happening in the days of Ishmael and Isaac, there was a verdict drawn by God. The God of the whole earth judged, and made his decision as it pertained the Covenant of the Law and the Covenant of Grace.

We hear this;

Galatians 4:30
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

Observe this statement “Cast out the bondwoman and her son”

This is God’s verdict, cast out the Law and its works, for by the works of the law, there shall no flesh be justified before God. The works of the law have no part in the inheritance.

This is why we hear;

Hebrews 7:18-19
For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

The word used above for disannulling is the Greek word athetesis, which means a cancellation. Strong’s Concordance (G115).

The Law is terminated. It is cancelled and taken out of the way. It has no part any longer in the Covenant of Grace. Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to all that believe.

The Law was weak, it profited no one, it never made anyone perfect, but only kept mocking at the weaknesses of the Jews by its incessant demands.

Their consciences were never free from guilt and condemnation, even after trying to fulfil its demands.

But The LORD has declared, cast out the bondwoman and her son; cast out the Law and all its works, And walk away free, beloved of the Lord; for Jesus has already nailed the handwriting of ordinances to the cross.

You are special, you are already an heir, you do not need to fight to be. You already are a possessor of the blessings of the Covenant of Grace. Works have no place in this covenant.

This is why we hear;

Galatians 4:31
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

We are born from the womb of freedom. Our entire lives are knitted with the blessings of the covenant.

Rejoice! It just a temptation. The covenant of God is already speaking on your behalf.

In an encounter with the Lord, I saw a child of God, this one has being labouring in the vision of God, but it was looking as though she was not making progress.

I saw that she was now in a place where all her efforts in building the vision had failed.

She decided to relinquish the work entirely to God.

As she left and was on her own waiting upon the Lord, I saw the Lord appear, but something strange happened, the Lord totally abandoned her work and was rebuilding something new in the same place.

I saw this child of God come looking with absolute surprise at the speed the Lord had built the vision.

I was led to:

Isaiah 43:19
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

And again,

Amos 9:13-15 MSG, “ “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” GOD ’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.

Then the Lord said, “Wait my child, Wait patiently my beloved for my salvation. I have seen your labour, and I have also seen how much you have desired fruit but have not found.

See, this is what I say, I, even I your God is doing a new thing. I AM doing a whole new work for you my child. I AM rebuilding the ruined places. Rest in my love and have confidence in Me.

It won’t be long, you will experience unprecedented growth beyond your imagination. I AM pouring out blessings upon you that you won’t be able to contain.

Watch as things suddenly kick off in a moment. I AM overwhelming you with my fullness. Blessings upon you like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.”

Your Are Not Subject to Those Elements

Yes, Gleanings from the Book of Galatians. Yesterday, we saw in ur discussion that, we are not from Mount Sinai, that gives birth to bondage. We are not of the earthly Jerusalem which is in bondage today with her children, but we are of the free, The spiritual and heavenly Jerusalem, the mother of all of us.

Then the apostle continues;

Galatians 4:28
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

We are born out of the promised Holy Spirit. A children of the covenant of promise and not of the covenant of the Law. To us belong all the blessings of God in Christ; righteousness, peace, pardon, redemption, sanctification, all the supplies of grace. We have the full promise of eternal life in Christ.

But there is something at this side of life the children of promise go through. The children born out of the grace of God.

Galatians 4:29
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Ishmael, born after the ordinary course of nature, had not the revelation of Spiritual things, persecuted Isaac, born after the Spirit.

Isaac was a good man, a man that feared God. He was born out of God’s word, with divine power fusing into the body of Abraham, and the womb of Sarah, which were both dead.

But we see this persecution immediately he was born;

Genesis 21:9
And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

Observe the word “mocking”

This is what the children of the bondmaid or those of the bondmaid mentality do to the children of the free woman, the sons of grace. They mock. You hear them picking out words, out of context and exaggerating things. Saying what the preacher is not saying.

When Paul preached, “But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound” Romans 5:20

Their mockery was that, Paul said, “let us do evil, that good may come”

Romans 3:8
And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

Even so, it is with the sons of grace today. When they preach the grace of God, they are being mocked that they say, people should go on and sin, that grace has now come. It is nothing new. It was so in the days of the apostles.

But the the word of God rather declares apparently that, when you are under the Law, you are under the dominion of sin, but sin looses its dominion over you when you run to the grace of God.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

So, the gospel of the grace of God is so much persecuted today just like the mockery of Ishmael on Isaac.

Paul was mocked until instead of accepting shame, he proclaimed – I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is actually the power of God unto salvation. They wanted to make him ashamed of preaching the grace of Christ.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

If you desire to be accepted, follow the normal norm, preach the accepted kind of message, don’t be real with scripture but preach it the way the mind of the flesh can accept it; Water-down the truth.

But if you preach the grace of God, be prepared you must be attacked, you must be fought against.

Galatians 5:11
And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

This persecution arises because this is the genuine gospel. The gospel of the free grace of Christ. The preaching of the unmerited, underserved, unconditional favour of God upon the ungodly.

Observe carefully the statement “even so it is now” (Galatians 4:28)

The mockery, the contradiction of sinners, the persecution is still on, but it is just a scriptural fulfilment. If every one speaks good of the gospel of the grace of Christ, then it is false.

Brace up beloved, you in the right spot. You are actually in the spotlight. They are only jealous, and have come to spy the liberty we have in Christ, so they can bring us back again into bondage.

The mockery over you is a demonstration that you are in the grace of God. It is an announcement that you are in the undeserved, unmerited, unearned, unconditional power of God’s grace.

In an encounter with the Lord; I saw a child of God, restless in deep troubles, I saw him holding unto to natural things for succor while the troubles were still on.

But these troubles had continued with him because he had not completely abandoned himself in his identity in Christ, which was the reason he was still being controlled by these elements.

As I saw this, I heard the Lord say “Wake up to your reality, you are not subject to those elements”

And I saw this Child of God began to let go of the natural things he was holding unto, and to rise in his authority in Christ.

Colossians 2:20
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

Then the Lord said “Wake up to your reality! You are not subject to those elements.

You are no longer of the world. You no longer live in the world, but you live in Me. In me you live and move and have your being.

Why subject yourself again to the elements of this world as though you are still living in the world?

You are born into a new world, the kingdom of the dear son of God. You dwell in light where darkness has no place. Where you cannot be overcome by the elements of this world.

You are in the kingdom of glory, where sickness, poverty, failure, weakness, defeat, disease have no authority.

Wake up my Child to your reality, refuse to be under, and experience my glory and righteousness.”

Let The Barren Rejoice!

Yes, Gleanings from The Book of Galatians. Yesterday we saw the typification made by the apostle Paul of the two covenants. Expressing allegorically, that Abraham had two sons, one by a bondmaid and the other by the free. One by promise and the other by the flesh.

Galatians 4:22-23
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Now, the apostle goes on to explain that, these things are an allegory of the two covenants. The covenant of free grace and the covenant of the Law.

Galatians 4:24-25
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

Observe carefully what the Spirit says about the covenant of the law given on mount Sinai” the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar”

The word used above for gendereth is from the Greek word gennao which means to procreate, to regenerate (Strong’s Concordance G1080).

Hence, the law gives birth to bondage. The law regenerates bondage, It regenerates sin in the lives of those observing it. It takes you back into bondage, not just the bondage of condemnation, but even into the bondage of sin.

For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. Romans 7:9

So the apostle says the law gives birth to bondage, just like we saw in the life of Hagar and Ismael. Hagar gave birth to Ishmael, but Ishmael and Hagar were still slaves.

She could not earn the promise even by giving birth to Ishmael, who was born after the flesh, which is a symbol of the works of the flesh, having no justification or acceptance before the tribunal of God.

And so we hear the apostle say of Hagar and Ishmael;

Galatians 4:25
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

The word of God is so clear on this, if you desire to see the effects of the law, visit Jerusalem as it is already in bondage.

As at the time Paul wrote this, the Jewish Nation were in civil, legal and moral bondage. Many of the Jews today are still waiting for the Messiah to come, who has already appeared. God manifested in the flesh, died and is now glorified. Many are still in bondage to the law and its practices today.

When people go there and see that many are still waiting for the messiah, they one way or the other feel pity upon them for their lack of faith and knowledge, yet the apostle says, that is the essence of the nature of the covenant of the law, and anyone under it is in bondage just like the present Jerusalem.

But there is something special about the covenant of promise, the covenant of grace;

Galatians 4:26
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

We are not born from mount Sinai, we are not born from the natural Jewish nation, we are not of the natural Jerusalem which is in bondage today with her children. We are not of the earthly but we are born from above, from the heavenly Jerusalem, which is free and having the the living God dwelling in it. The spiritual Jerusalem, which is the mother of us all.

Oh, hear the Spirit speak;

Galatians 4:27
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

The Lord says “Rejoice! let the barren rejoice! Let the desolate break forth and cry. For Zion is travailing and giving birth. Even to a nation in a day is she giving birth, for now is the time of your redemption.”

You Have Overcome The Wicked One

Yes, Gleanings from the book to Galatians. In our last discussion, we looked at the question the apostle asked those desiring to be under the law;

Galatians 4:21
Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

Now, what does the law actually say?

Galatians 4:22
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

The apostle begins to open up the two covenants by using an allegory. He says Abraham had two Sons, Ishmael and Isaac. One by a bond woman which is Hagar the Egyptian slave, and the other by the free woman, which is Sarah, the legitimate wife of Abraham.

Now this is what the apostle begins to open up here; that they which are of the law are slaves. They which are of the grace of God are free.

No man with a choice will chose slavery instead of freedom. This is why this idea of going back to the works of the law is of the devil.

No one who is normal will prefer a life of slavery, but today men vehemently fight to be slaves. Imagine Isaac, everyday desiring to give away his position as the heir and a legitimate son, to the position of Ishmael a slave child.

Ismael, even though Abraham’s son, was a son of a slave woman, having absolutely no part in the inheritance. This is what the enemy wants to rob the Church of; the inheritance.

Then we hear;

Galatians 4:23
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Observe these “he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh”

Born after the natural course of life. He was not born of God. It was the desire of Abraham for a child that brought Ismael for a time into the house. He was never God’s original Idea.

That which born of flesh is flesh. The law gives birth to works of the flesh and has nothing to offer as it pertains spiritual things.

“But he of the free woman was by promise”

That which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. There is no connection between the two. Flesh gives birth to flesh and Spirit gives birth to Spirit.

Isaac was of the free woman. A child of promise. A Child of grace. Why switch your identity to a child of the flesh?

Why give away your authority to the devil and go back to taking upon you the identity of a slave?

God loves you beyond knowledge. You are a Child of promise. You are not a slave Child. You were born from above, and whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world.

You have overcome the beggarly lifestyle of works salvation. Do not go back to a life of slavery. You a child of the living God. An heir of God.

All things are already yours in Christ. Your are born through the blessing of Abraham as a child of promise, for you are born of the Spirit. You are not a slave child, but like Isaac, you are a child of promise – born of the promised Holy Spirit.

Galatians 3:14
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

In an encounter with the Lord, I saw a child of God who has been fighting many battles with the enemy. Going through a lot of trials. I saw that he was now advancing in his spiritual walk.

He had moved forward and was gaining stature and strength in the things of the spirit. I saw the enemy making new plans to attack with the same temptation.

But Just before this, I heard the Lord say “Not this time, he has already overcome”

1 John 2:14
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

Then the Lord said “My Child, the trials are not to kill you but to make you grow up into me in all things.

You have stood strong on my word which is now dwelling in you richly.

The strength of your life is increased, you are gaining stature with me, this is the reason for the many battles you face.

I say to you, my word has grown in you and has prevailed. I AM proud of my grace in you and have declared my word to your adversary; not this time – he has already overcome.

And now I say to you, you are strong, My Word abides in you and you have overcome the wicked one.”

This is Your Morning, Here Comes Your Joy

Yes, Gleanings from the Book of Galatians.

We saw in our last discussion, that the apostle was again in labour pains for the churches in Galatia that had gone back to the law, that Christ be formed in them.

Then we hear the apostle say;

Galatians 4:20
I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.

“I desire to be present with you” A deep longing and concern for the churches. He was not satisfied with their being Christians, but was concerned more about their establishment in Christ.

I have had a lot of people try to talk me out of preaching the truth, in the name The Truth, will bring division. If that was Biblical and is Holy Spirit inspired, the apostle wouldn’t have being longing to redo the work with them to which he had done in so much labour. He would have said, ‘let’s just leave them to live in their misery, after all, they are already saved.’

That’s not true love. Love does not rejoice in evil. Hence, we hear the apostle “and to change my voice”

The apostle sounds here as though he had been too lenient with the Galatians, and now he wanted to take on another approach. They had made him to loose confidence in his labours upon them, to which we hear him say “for I stand in doubt of you”.

This was actually a frustrating experience for the apostle as it is with many today who are trying to reestablish the hearts of the people in Christ.

But his overwhelming love for them never allowed him to let go and wallow in bitterness, but he implored rather another approach. This is worthy of emulation.

The apostle no more sure of their freedom in Christ, their going back to Judaism and practices of heathenism, made the apostle to switch his tone as we can see in the following verse;

Galatians 4:21
Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

This kind of scriptures gave me courage to overcome the bondage of the law. The apostle now throws this to the faces of these backslidden Churches.

“Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law”

This is a blow to the faces of those struggling to have the Law back on our pulpits. The desire to be under the Law is not of God. Many people today desiring to serve God through their works, desiring to live in the works of the law do not actually know the Law.

As I write this right now, if my reader who desires to be under the Law feels he actually knows the law, out of the 613 laws in the Bible, can you just stop and recite the ten commandments chronologically without opening your Bible?

The Holy Spirit will not inspire you. And again, they only know a few out of the 613 laws in the Bible.

Give them the Bible, even with it they can’t find fully the laws. They don’t know what they stand for, because there is no life nor relationship with those commandments.

Hence, the apostle says “do ye not hear the law”

Paul is saying here that, those desiring to be under that Law don’t even know the Law. They can’t hear what the Law is actually saying.

When I was new in the faith and I was taught that you earn salvation and blessings by your works, (It doesn’t matter how it is presented, that is what they teach in essence). I decided to look a little into to the law. As I began seeing some things in the Law, I could see that they were far from the reality of the Law themselves.

For instance, today we are all made kings and priests unto God. Every Christian is a priest. We are all a Royal Priesthood.

Revelation 1:6
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

If we are now to go back to the old covenant to keep the Law as a way of life as many say. The Law forbids priests from balding their hair. In other words, no skin cut hairstyle for priests. No shaving of side beard. No cuttings in the flesh.

Leviticus 21:5
They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.

If my reader is of the desire to reestablish the law; If he is of age, he is well shaven, looking good, reading this and pointing a false finger at others.

I would read these things out of the law and I would watch people who would be so guilty of what they were preaching by all these standards, yet they would be preaching works angrily.

Another instance, since we all have been made priests unto to God, for those who agitate that there is no divisions in the covenant; that we should just take the word of God literally without rightly dividing the word;

We are told as priests of the Lord to burn our daughters if they ever fornicate;

Leviticus 21:9
And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.

When people come to these kinds of scriptures, they say no, this one is old covenant.

This was why Jesus would call them hypocrites. I am waiting to hear a man burn up his daughter for the sake of fornication.

I can go on and on..the Law says No crossbreeding , No planting of different crops on the same piece of Land, don’t wear any clothe made of two materials, either with linen and cotton.

Leviticus 19:19
Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!

A lot of us subsidize crossbreeds like dogs, broilers today like anything. Like broilers, We may not be there crossbreeding them ourselves, but we buy Biblically forbidden food and cook in our homes and eat and celebrate Christmas. You are trice guilty by the Law. Sentenced to death.

Your farm at the backyard has pepper, Tomatoes planted together, you are trice guilty! Sentenced to death.

This one you can’t escape, you that desire to be under the law, what are you wearing?

Check all the clothes you are wearing. Combinations upon Combinations of linen, cotton and whatsoever on your body right now. You are thrice guilty! And sentenced to death, for the wages of sin is death.

When it comes to these ones, they say no, not these laws, the other ones. Blunt hypocrisy. The Bible does not teach that. The Law demands all or nothing; all or you are cursed;

Galatians 3:10
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

When you keep one, you are indebted to keep all. When you go back to one, you must pay all the debt;

Galatians 5:3
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

This is why all what we are seeing around today about the law is mere razzmatazz. It is just noise making.

This is why the apostle says, you that desire to be under the law, Don’t You Hear?

Paul says they don’t actually know the Law, they don’t know what they are agitating for. If you know the Law, you will actually honour it. You will establish it by respecting it’s purpose, agreeing with its sentence and run to Jesus.

May The Spirit of Revelation Rest Upon The Church Even in These Last Days Like Never Before in The Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

In an encounter with the Lord, early hours of this morning, I heard “The Joy you have longed for is now coming into your life”

As I heard this, the sense surrounding me was of a person who has not had a reason to be joyful for a long time. Someone who has being in sorrow and languishing for a long time now.

I was led to:

Psalms 30:5
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Then the Lord Continued “I have seen your sorrows, all you have being going through in the dark. Your obscurity has not been hidden from my eyes. Child of my love, I say to you, the joy you have longed for is now coming into your life.

Your weeping has lasted, but I say it has just being for a night. The darkness is passed, and now is your lifting. This is your morning, here comes your Joy.”
