It is Beyond What You Have Ever Imagined

Yes, Gleanings from the Book Of Galatians.

We saw from our last discussion that, circumcision or uncircumcision amounts to nothing, but faith which operates by love. The love of God for us, our love to God and humanity in general.

Then we hear;

Galatians 5:7
Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

“Ye did run well” the apostle said, but how had they run well?

Galatians 3:2-3
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

They were running well when they were being led by the spirit and not by the works of the flesh. They had begun their Christian journey in the Spirit through believing in the free Grace of God.

They had received salvation through faith in Christ Jesus which justified them efficaciously, but they were now turning away from the truth.

“who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth”

They were now being hindered from continuing in their obedience of the truth. Now what is the truth here that Paul had delivered unto them to which they were now being hindered from, by false and religious bethren?

Galatians 1:6
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Yes, the Free Grace of God was the truth they were being hindered from giving their total allegiance to. The doctrine of justification by faith in the righteousness of Christ.

Every other assertion which lays a stumbling block upon the hearts of the people is neither from the apostles nor from God.

As we can see;

Galatians 5:8
This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

The persuasion to go back to the works of the law after you have been saved is not of God.

The apostles never admonished anyone to do that, in fact we here their collective verdict on this matter;

Acts 15:23-24
And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

Observe this statement carefully “Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment”

Today a lot of people are still troubling us. These uninspired brethren still trouble the hearts of the saints with their false assertions in an attempt to subvert the souls of the saints from resting in the grace of God.

All the apostles gathered together and wrote after observing scriptures and by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, that no one should go back to the keeping of the law after they have been saved.

They declared as you can see in the verses above, that they gave no such commandment to no one.

Meaning, all those asserting for the keeping of the law after you have begun in the grace of God are inspired by demons. They may be saved but they are being influenced by doctrines of devils.

Hence, the apostle said this persuasion did not come from God who had called them into the grace of Christ.

Then we hear;

Galatians 5:9
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Just a small sour leaven ferments a large mass of dough, even so it is with Grace and The Law. Observation of one little jot totally annihilates man’s faith in the righteousness of God.

The Law is not of faith. It is a faith destroyer. The moment the works of the flesh are added to faith it destroys everything. It completely renders the work of Christ vain.

These are little foxes that many people have not identified which are a hindrance to many seeing the power of God fully manifesting in their lives.

But you O’ child of God are different. You are a child of Grace. You are running well and never will be entrapped in the snare of the enemy.

You are running with divine speed as you continue to look to the grace of God. For in it, your part is already fulfilled, your already destiny secured, you are only walking in the finished work of Christ.

We will continue tomorrow…

In an encounter with the Lord, I saw a Christian as he went to catch fish in a mass of water. He went but I saw him return empty handed, even though he had sensed there was an extremely huge amount of fishes in the spot he visited, but he could not just catch.

Then I saw the Lord appear, and released power upon this Christian, declaring to him that the fishes he had given to him.

As this Child of God went back to the water, the problem now was how he would be able to carry this extremely large number of fishes out of the water. The blessing was actually beyond his capacity.

I was led by the Spirit of the Lord to;

Luke 5:4-7
Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Then I heard the Lord say, “Beloved, I have seen your toil, you have laboured for a long time now with nothing to your account. But don’t be weary, for I AM in your boat.

Do not draw back, neither be relaxed, but stretch forward and launch out, for I have already given you a great catch.

It is beyond what you have ever imagined. It is the fulfilment of my word upon you.

What I have given unto you now, you will have no room to receive. Blessings in abundance you won’t be able to catch up with.”

You Will Now See The Greatness of Your God

Yes, Gleanings from the book of Galatians
In our last discussion, it was revealed to us how the only ground of justification is through the righteousness of faith, to which even all the apostles hoped in and looked to receiving the full dividends of their salvation at the return of Jesus.

He now goes on to give us the reason they all hoped in the righteousness God which comes by Christ Jesus;

Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

In the kingdom of Christ, in the religion which Christ came to establish; neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any evidence in matters of salvation. In the gospel dispensation it is totally abolished.

It had significance before the coming of Christ, but now it is fulfilled, abolished, taken out of the way and no longer a sacrament.

The Jew no longer has a special standing before God, neither does the gentile; all are accepted by faith in Christ Jesus with neither personality nor works attached.

Then we hear “but faith which worketh by love”

The word used above for worketh is from the Greek word energeo, from where we get the English word energy, and it means to be active, to be efficient (Strong’s Concordance 1754).

True faith is active, true faith is efficient, true faith is operative. It is not a mere intellectual belief but it is rooted deep in the heart, controlling its affections.

True faith comes with its works called; works of love or the labour of love.

True faith works by love not and not by works of The Law. True faith is energized by love to God and benevolence to man.

True faith has energy it. It is not a mere profession but is carries the energy of God in it. Genuine faith operates out of love to God and kindness and affection to man.

True faith works not by desire for self glory but a desire for God to be exalted, esteeming others better than itself.

True faith has Christ as its author and finisher.

This is why the apostles were not afraid to preach the gospel of grace. Because the love of God activates faith and not the other way round. Faith works by love, where there is no love faith cannot be operative.

So, how do I put the faith of the believer to action?

Feed the Christian with the love of the father, and the faith resident in him will rise to the roof, with love to God expressing itself in affection to the brethren and to mankind generally.

True believers have the God kind of faith on their inside, which has love to God and love to man.

The grace of God rather helps to bring out the beauties in the Christian.

There is faith on your inside, you have the faith of your father on your inside with His love as the pledge.

So, keep loving and trusting God, and keeping loving others, for your faith works by love, and remember, love never fails!

See you tomorrow…..

In an encounter with the Lord, I heard him say; “Look not to your weaknesses nor to the necessities hanging on your neck. Look away from the reproaches and the persecutions coming upon you . Those distresses you are facing for my name’s sake. All these you are experiencing because you have dared to step out in my will.

But my dear one, I AM your strength, in this time you feel frail, my strength will be seen greater in you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. This is the time you are stronger in me.

So rejoice, you are in a place to see my surpassing power manifest upon you like you have never seen. You will now see the greatness of your God manifesting unprecedentedly all around you my dear Child.”

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
