My Vision For You is Now Speaking
The wisdom of God is manifesting during these times of the boisterous winds. God is eternally securing our confidence in the word and not in what we see. Genuine faith is surfacing. To trust God in good times is not faith, But to trust God in the dark, that is faith. This is so precious in the eyes of our God. Your beauty is now being unveiled in the eyes of your God.
Yes, gleanings from the book of Galatians. Yesterday we saw that God’s love for us is unconditional, the greater the weight of our sins, the greater grace and glory he has reserved for us.
Now we will move to the second chapter as the apostle Paul begins to open his encounter when he went up by revelation to Jerusalem where Judaism was the order of the day. Judaism (The belief that salvation is by works) was their view and they were against something the apostle opens up;
Galatians 2:4-5
And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
These religious men, false teachers came into the Church to do something, observe what the apostle says was there mission “to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ.”
Today it is as though to be free in Christ is a sin.
The Apostle says, we are free from the bondage of the law, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. In Christ there is liberty. We are free to approach the thrice holy God at times just as we are without a plea, our plea remains the cross of Jesus.
A lot of us do not live freely thinking God is just standing by counting all our faults. That’s no liberty. When you truly understand the gospel, it is a call to liberty.
A lot of people having this thinking which has come from our religious doctrines that the Gospel is a call to bondage, no, never, it is a call to freedom. A life of no condemnation in Christ. We are rather in bondage to the love of God.
This is often painful to those under the law, they desire that all men suffer as they do hence, we hear “that they might bring us into bondage”
Mere religion is a spirit of bondage. Do good get good, do bad get bad is not different from the teachings of other religions. You don’t need any revelation to preach this kind of thing. If you are good God will bless you, if you are bad God will curse you is the same message in every other religion’s acclaimed holy book.
But the gospel is different, the gospel of God is glorious. we must fight to restore the earth back to the gospel. The good news of the grace of God showered on an ungodly man. This defies logic.
The apostle fought for their liberty to which we must do. “To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour.
These people with their teachings only come to defy the true gospel” that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.”
Now there is another thing so beautiful in the next verse which the apostle opens up;
Galatians 2:6
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
See this, there is just one peice we will look at from the above verse, the apostle says “God accepteth no man’s person”
Our external circumstances, our trophies, our persons are not accepted by God. God does not accept any man’s person. Whosoever you are, you cannot be accepted by God. God has never accepted any man’s person and will never accept any man’s person.
But pastor I am a good man, I have never tasted alcohol, I have not even tasted coffee. I have never cursed any one all my life, never used sway words. I have kept my thoughts so pure ever since I was born, I have never lusted after a women or man ever in my heart. Pastor I am very serious, I tithe, I fast, I pray long hours to my God. I help the poor, I honour people, I am sure a good person. Thank you for making the world a better place but God accepts no man’s person.
Then how can we be accepted? There is only one way out, the God-Man, we are accepted only in the beloved son of God.
Ephesians 1:6
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
God accepts the person of himself as our personality. Beside God there is none, hence God accepts only himself. There is only one good in whom we are all accepted. This is why there is nothing you and I can do to be accepted by God. Outside of Jesus God accepts no man’s person.
But pastor the patriarchs, Abraham, Jacob and the rest, God accepted them before Jesus came?
Since the creation of the world God has never accepted any man’s person. All men that have been accepted from the old covenant to the new are accepted by the blood of Jesus.
All the sins of the patriarchs that God forbore, all past sins were paid for by the blood of Jesus that the Justice of God be confirmed before his creation. Their sacrifices were a pointer to their faith in the death of Christ.
Romans 3:25-26
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
There is no need trying, God is same yesterday, today and forever. As long as he is God, you will never be accepted, only in the beloved are we accepted. Who wants to be the best sinner that God rejected?
On the other hand, what a wonderful privilege to be accepted in God. A great confidence to always approach the throne to plead my case. As long as the beloved is accepted, I am Holy, unblamable and irreproachable in his sight.
Colossians 1:22
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
In an encounter with the Lord, I saw a Child of God, this child of God had been accepting the declaration of God’s word over her life for a long time but the full manifestation was not coming forth. I saw this her become frustrated as God was about stepping into the scene.
I saw a person delivering words to this Child of God but the reception was not there out of hope differed. But I saw that these words were now an introduction of God’s fulfilment of his word upon her life.
Then I was reminded of the Story of Sarah, how she laughed at the promises out protracted waiting, and again I was led to Habakkuk;
Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Then the Lord said “This is the appointed time, this is your time of life. Do not call my word a lie, though it has tarried, it is no lie.
Have a confident expectation of good, accept the word, wait for it. It will no longer tarry, for now the word comes to reality in your life. This is the hour of fulfilment. My vision for you is now speaking.
Blessings in Christ,
