You Will Once Again Be Sought After

Yes, Gleanings from the Book of Galatians. We saw in our last discussion that we are heirs of God, we are no longer servants in bondage to the law. God is our portion and Christ our all is everything and in everything.

Then the Apostle goes on to say,
Galatians 4:8
Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

There was a time when the churches in Galatia were outside of Christ. In that state they knew not God and were slaves to Idols. They made service to them which by nature are no gods.

Observe this statement carefully, “them which by nature are no gods”

To be God is by nature. You cannot become God if you are not Him by nature. The same way you are born a woman by nature and cannot become a man, even so it is the same with being God.

Whatsoever God can do, his creation cannot do, they can only be done with his aid and permission, for there are no two sources to life. What do you mean pastor?

God as the uncreated is the only one with the nature of source. The only one with the nature of being. He is actually the only being. All creatures take there being from God.

Hence, God is the absolute sovereign of both the spiritual and physical universe. He is in absolute control of everything. (Please don’t write me a mail about this statement, a book will be out that goes into details when its time).

Outside of God, nothing exists, in reality they are no gods. To us who believe they are no gods.

1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Observe the statement “of whom are all things.”

There is a purpose for everything you are going through. There is a grace in you the Lord wants to see worked out. It could be perseverance, endurance, longsuffering, faith..

I am not saying you should accept evil, No! He allows the enemy to test you so you can make the grace in you manifest.

The grace of faith to which you say No to the trials, you reject them and stay with the knowledge that God is good and has already taken away all our sorrows on the cross, no matter how long the temptation stays.

The statement made above “of whom are all things” is very deep. Not everyone believes there is only one God of which from him all things, It takes a deeper revelation to accept this kind of truth. But without this knowledge, fear is inevitable, your conscience will never be stable as the next verse says;

1 Corinthians 8:7
Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

By nature, there is one God who is even our father of lights to which from him everything.

No need to fear demons, there are no gods. They are not gods by nature. they are limited to only what God wills. No need to panic, we are today irreversibly blessed in Christ.

All things are working together for your good dear beloved. It may not look pleasing, but keep trusting, proclaiming your faith and looking up to our good God. He sure hears and help is coming your way.

See you tomorrow…

In an encounter with the Lord, I saw a Christian who was in God’s will and on God’s work. I saw people come to observe but I could not see them committing themselves to this work, it was as though this Christian was forsaken.

But I saw that after a period of time, this Child of God was highly sought after, many people began working for this Child of God. Even hardened hearts came to help establish this will of God as this believer kept on doing the work.

Isaiah 62:11-12
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Then the Lord said, “It may look lonely but do not be weary, for your salvation comes. It will not be like this always, I AM now rewarding you with my goodness.

I will fulfill my purpose upon you my self for I have separated you unto me, made you holy and redeemed you from the evil in the world.

I say to you my Child, I have not forsaken you, you will once again be sought after – for you are a city not forsaken.”

Blessings in Christ,
