I am burning the bridges

This is a pivotal moment; the enemy is trying so hard to lay facts before God’s people so they can turn back from following God’s counsel. 

These are facts, what he is presenting before you is physically true but look beyond. See beyond, and be of good cheer for Jesus has overcome for us.

We have the mind of Christ and we have to put this mind on at all times. If we be carnally minded we are already dead.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6

Observe that the above verse does not say carnal mindedness tends to death but it is says to be carnally minded is death. Carnal mindedness equals death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

A lot of people think of carnal mindedness as gross sinfulness. Yes carnal mindedness is death as a whole which is a product of sin. But there is something more to this word. 

The Greek word for carnal above is the word sarx  which speaks of flesh as stripped of the skin, the meat of an animal, the body as opposed to soul and spirit or the symbol of what is external , etc (Strong’s Concordance G4563).

To be carnally minded just means to set your mind or think on things from the physical perspective and not from the spiritual viewpoint.

To be spiritually minded is to be word minded. To view all things through the word, for Jesus said;

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

Now let’s see how this works. The word of God says;

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1Peter 2:24

 It says by whose stripes we were healed, Past tense. We are not going to be healed but we were healed.

But I tell you the truth if you go by the physical facts that happen to us, if you look at what most of us are going through right now you will deny the word and declare that it is not true.

Nevertheless, if you decide to practice spiritual mindedness, you will set your mind upon this word until the revelation comes to you effecting what has already been done in the Spirit.

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29

In other words the above verse is saying, If it is a secret to you, you will never see the manifestation. Until it becomes a revelation, until it is illuminated to you by the Spirit it is real but still belonging to God.

This is why meditation, imagination are key to possessing the promises. We cannot afford to be lazy if we want to see the manifestations.

We must put off the mind of the flesh, the mind that looks at things on the physical and set our hearts on things of the spirit. Paul was surprised at the Corinthian Church in his second letter and asked;

Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? 2Corinthians 10:7

Yes, we must look beyond the natural. We must look with the eyes of our hearts until we see the word as our reality. The word becomes real;

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2Corinthians 10:7

In an encounter with the LORD; I saw him destroying foundations, then I heard “I am burning the bridges behind my people and establishing them on a new level”

The Holy Ghost witnessed;

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19

Then the LORD said; “This is your time to live in the new. I am destroying the things that held you captive and releasing you into the greater new.

I have ordained peace for you.  The foundations of the deep are now broken, rivers of living water will flow from your belly.

Do not look back at your wilderness, do not look at your dry grounds, for I have made a way and you are being  filled with my life abundantly.”

Treasures are Coming to Zion

Get up, it’s a shot to the heart, it is meant to weaken you. Get over it. look to Jesus your righteousness, ignore those voices of accusation. It is by his life that God has ordained success for you. You shall be saved by that very life.

There is a mystery about the blood of Jesus. Oh that we may understand the revelation behind the blood. 

Many look at the blood as though it were animal blood. Many think the substance of the blood is liquid. As long as we believe in the blood it is good but there is a richer understanding that opens up the door for a greater experience of the life.

A lack of understanding of the blood has led many to the doctrine of born again, again… 

Some people just keep getting born again again all the time after they miss the mark.

 Some keep using this language of “applying the blood.” And some “get under the blood,”

Brother if you are out of the blood for a second after been saved the enemy will so devour you that they will be nothing of you found, lest you go back to the blood.

Now look at what the scripture speaks of the blood;

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1Peter 1:18-19

The above verse makes a very good contrast between the blood and gold and silver. The blood is contrasted with corruptible things.

 It is said the blood of Jesus is not like something which is corruptible as gold and silver. O that you may grasp it. It means the blood is incorruptible. It is not like gold and silver that can be corrupted.

This is saying that when you are redeemed by this blood, you have received eternal redemption. You are without blame and spotless, you are incorruptible. You eternally stand without reproach before the eyes of God.  Don’t blame me, I didn’t say it, the scriptures say so.

Under the law, Moses attempted to reveal the representation of blood;

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Leviticus 17:11

Oh Moses went very close. He says the life is in the blood. But the book of Hebrews blows it up, it says we have to Zion;

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that that of Abel. Hebrews 12:24

O the blood has a voice, the blood speaks. But what does the blood speak?  

We are told from the above verse “better things.” Expect better things to happen to you this season for that is what the blood is speaking for you.

But lets move on a little now that we have known that the blood has a voice. The next verse completely reveals the blood

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:Hebrews 12:25

Ah! I do not know if this is proper but let me put it this way, the Blood is a HIM. That’s what the above verse says. The blood is a person. See that you refuse not him that speaks “better things.” The blood is the person of Jesus.  This is why the blood is incorruptible.

As long as I am in him, I am incorruptible. I am in him forever, hence I am washed forever.  I am clean forever. I am perfected forever.

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Hebrews 10:14

In an encounter with the LORD, I heard the LORD say “I will so much treasure her, treasures are coming to Zion.”

The Holy Spirit witnessed;

Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

Things are going to work differently

Even though the Lord is stirring us up to awake, to rise and take the land. He also desires that we do it from a place of resting in him. Our destinies are already accomplished, the work finished.

As our hearts rest daily in his love and grace, we are accomplishing in this period more than we would have done in years.

I have learned through the word of God and by experience that promotion comes from God and God alone. There is no help in man. Help is an attribute of God as the judge of all the earth.

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? Genesis 18:25

Observe carefully the above verse, it does not say he is the judge of Christians but the Judge of ALL the earth. Every issue in life must pass through the Throne Room of God. It is his decree that is exhibited in the earth

Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? Lamentations 3:27

Reality is a product of God’s decrees. I am aware that many argue this kind of scriptures out of the way in other to water down the sovereignty of God, but the word of God has no revolutions. It does not change. We only grow up into the revelation of the word.

But let us stay with today’s emphasis, Yes, promotion can only come when the king decrees;

Many seek the ruler’s favor; but every man’s judgment cometh from the LORD. Proverbs 29:26

In other words many look up to man for help, they do things to appease humanity. Even in the vineyard of the LORD many do things with hearts focusing on man for rewards rather than the ultimate rewarder.

Observe the above verse carefully, it does not say the Christians’ judgment or the unbelievers’ judgment. God decides every man’s favor. No matter how hard we work, no matter how much we serve, even in the LORD’s vineyard, only the judge of all the earth decides when and how to favor us.

Do not be deceived, look up to heaven and heaven alone, for;

……A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. John 3:27

Do not be bitter when you have not received, the judge of all the earth has not commanded your reality in that case yet. wait and keep waiting, Your God will favor you.

I have served at different levels and still serving in God’s vineyard but I have found out one thing about man, man loves to idolize himself. The reason man preaches self is to draw men after himself. Man loves to take the glory of God. But all of this is an illusion. There is no reality in man, only God lifts up. Only God promotes;

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Psalm 75:6-7

 Look up to God dear beloved, it will not come from man. It is coming, but it must come from the throne of grace. Never look to the earth but look above, let your heart say;

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2

 In an encounter with the LORD, I heard him say “Things are going to work differently as you touch them”

 The spirit witnessed ;

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:3

Now is The Day of Your Double Blessing

Things are getting excited in the spirit. Hearts are beginning to feel normal even in the face of the chaos. The energy of God from within is pushing off the weights.

There is a lot God has done for us, yes his benefits are enormous but there is a place for greater benefits. There is a foundation God has laid all his goodness upon and it his desire that this foundation be revealed in us. When revealed in us the fullness of God flourishes our lives exceeding all our imaginations.

God is doing exceeding and abundantly above all we can ask or think but there is a ground that is first established. And what is this ground

The Apostle Paul knew it; he prayed and explained it to the Church at Ephesus;

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; Ephesians 3:16

Yes, it begins with the Spirit energizing us from within by the power of God. But there is a reason for this energizing. There is a reason for this strength which is;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge…. Ephesians 3:16

Yes, then Christ dwells in our hearts by faith. Here the reality of who he is to us is accepted and unity to our hearts by faith. This is the peak of it. We are here rooted and grounded in love, we dive into the ocean of God’s love so that we may know the limits.

As we begin to pursue the understanding of this love, we keep on going, never knowing it is beyond comprehension. As we become swallowed up in the love and in the pursuit of knowing more of this love, we do not realize that we are actually being filled with the fullness of God.

….that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Ephesians 3:16

So our knowledge of God’s love is what ushers in the fullness of God. Not the knowledge of a church doctrine, not the knowledge of my sin, not the knowledge of my potentials but the knowledge of the Love of God leads to the fullness of God manifesting in our lives.

When we have come to this revelation, we are told;

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:18

The Now doesn’t just come, there is a process that leads up to the now. Then the end of the verse reminds us of the ground on which he does exceeding abundantly.

It says according to the power at work in us. Every believer has the power of God on the inside but until the power produces the revelation of the love of God in us there is no ground for the “now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.”

This is why Apostle Paul on his knees was in prayer for the church at Ephesus.

I pray the Spirit of God energizes us from our inner man daily, that we may grow in the knowledge of the Love of God, that the fullness of God be made manifest in our lives.

In an encounter with the LORD, around 2:25Am, I saw the LORD lay hands on two people who desperately needed help from him. He laid hands on them and proclaimed the same blessing saying; “What I AM Doing with you this year, People will write about it”

Coming out the Holy Spirit led me to;

For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. Isaiah 61:7

And again;

And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed. Isaiah 61:9

Then the LORD said, “In my glory there is no shame. I have placed my joy in your heart and it is springing forth.

For every weakness and even for every wrong decision you have made, My power is resting on you and now your darkness is light unto me. Now is the day of your double blessing.

Do not live in despair, you are marked for glory. My blessings will announce you. Kings will tell of my goodness upon you. Rejoice and possess the double.

I AM Changing Things
There is a freedom that is coming through as we are facing the fears. The giants are now shrinking. The only way to overcome fear is to face fear and that’s what many are doing right now.

There is something that looks general on the outside but it is one of the greatest keys to a prosperous life in Christ Jesus, which is to understand the secret of his presence.

There is a mystery about dwelling in this presence. I am aware of Christ in me the hope of glory, I am also fully aware of if a man be in Christ he is a new creation.

All these I glean, in to keep my heart steady on who I am in Christ. But I do not forget the scripture that says;

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

If I am given the privilege to come to the throne boldly, why ever leave? This is the place of authority, the home of grace and mercy. This is the place where the judge of all the earth makes decrees.

How can I be struck right before his presence. Why stand afar? May I always live and plead my case before the throne.

Brother, may the LORD open your heart to see that there is a coming. Once a man has found the secret of this place, no desire can match. This was the greatest secret of David.

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. Psalm 27:4

Yes, faith says we believe that he is, but we must also believe that he rewards them that diligently seek him.

This David found but he also knew there are rewards. Nevertheless all the rewards are not found outside but in the presence. May I be as selfish as David, to dwell in his presence all the days of my life;

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. Psalm 27:5-6

The secret is not outside the tabernacle but in inside the tabernacle.

May I not be as Saul who neglected this and his enemies bowed his head. May I be like David who found out the secret from observing Obededom, the Gittite.

And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household. And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness. 2Samuel 6:11

The ark, a type of the throne room, the place of the mercy seat. Here the cherubs cover me. Here my weakness is swallowed up by the grace of he who seats on the throne.

This is the place of victory. This is the heart of God. This is the secret of David.

In an encounter with the LORD, I saw a person who had a business but there were no returns coming to him from the people managing the business for him.

Then I saw the LORD appear and they were walking together as he was relating his issues to the LORD. I heard him confirm the promises given to him by the Lord as the LORD listened.

Then the LORD SAID, “I AM changing things”
